These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our pet care services and form a binding agreement between you and K9 Scooper Scouts, LLC. By accessing or using our pet waste removal services, you agree to comply with these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use our services. 

You must be at least 18 years old to use our services. Engaging with our services also signifies your acceptance of our Privacy Policy, which details how we collect and use your personal data.

Words with capitalized initials have meanings defined below. These definitions apply whether used in singular or plural form.

Definitions

Region refers to: Ohio, United States.

Company (referred to as "K9 Scooper Scouts", "We", "Us", or "Our") refers to K9 Scooper Scouts, LLC, based in Defiance, OH, which provides pet care services, including pet waste removal. 

Device means any device that can access the Service, such as a computer, smartphone, or tablet.

Service refers to the website and the pet waste removal services offered by K9 Scooper Scouts, LLC.

Terms and Conditions ("Terms") refer to this agreement between You and the Company regarding the use of our services.

Website refers to K9 Scooper Scouts, accessible from www.k9scooperscouts.com.

"You" means the individual or entity accessing or using the Service, in accordance with our privacy policy.

• Services are provided “as is” and “as available” without any warranties.
• We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, error‑free performance, or compatibility with any systems or devices.
• We are not responsible for viruses, malware, or any other harmful components.
• These conditions apply to all K9 Scooper Scouts pet waste removal services and are supported by our full Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions.

K9 Scooper Scouts provides pet waste removal only.

We do not offer landscaping, lawn care, or hazardous waste removal.

Service quality may be affected by:

• Weather (rain, snow, ice)
• Yard access issues
• Tall grass, leaves, or heavy debris
• Mud, slopes, standing water

After the first hour of an initial clean‑up or one‑time clean‑up, service may be paused if additional time is needed.

• Additional time is billed at $15 per 15 minutes beyond the first hour.
• This policy helps keep pricing fair and consistent for all customers.
• It also protects our Scouts from unusually large or time‑intensive clean‑ups that fall outside standard service expectations.

We observe major U.S. holidays.

If your service falls on a holiday, we will complete it within 48 hours before or after, when possible.

Regular charges still apply because waste continues to accumulate.

• Service is billed monthly, regardless of how many weeks are in the month.
• We work in most weather, but may reschedule for safety (lightning, extreme temps, heavy rain).
• We cannot scoop during or immediately after snowfall.
• Missed visits due to weather will be rescheduled within 48 hours when possible.
• Charges still apply because waste continues to accumulate.

You must ensure the yard is accessible (unlocked gate, no obstructions).

• If we cannot access the yard, the visit is skipped and still charged.
• We must have access to an outside trash can for waste disposal. There is a $10 haul-away fee if you wish for us to take the waste with us.
• Aggressive pets must be secured.
• Repeated safety issues may result in service termination.
• Notify us of any changes to yard conditions or pet behavior.

Payment is required before service.

• Invoices are due on the 1st of each month.
• Accounts inactive for 30 days are removed from the schedule and must re-enroll.
• Unpaid balances may be sent to collections after 60 days.

We may suspend or terminate service if terms are violated.

Upon termination, service stops immediately.

• Our liability is limited to the amount you paid for service (or $100 if no payment was made).
• We are not responsible for indirect or incidental damages.

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, United States. Your use of K9 Scooper Scouts' pet care services, including our pet waste removal solutions, may also be subject to other local, state, or federal laws, as outlined in our privacy policy.
